New editors.... I reformatted the audio links embedded in this article according to Wikipedia format using an audio template. Do not link audio using image templates. Also, DO NOT link the same audio file more than once in an article. Either place it in the body of the article or under an image thumbnail, NOT BOTH! --Gerald Farinas05:40, 17 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Ouch. Was it really necessary to put that in all caps? The phrase "don't bite the newcomers" comes to mind. Essjay 06:14, May 17, 2005 (UTC)
I agree. That was unnecessarily harsh, esp. since the article before these changes was pretty good and the duplicate audio links weren't exactly a tragedy. :) — Stevie is the man!Talk | Work 15:01, May 17, 2005 (UTC)
It appears from this URL that user:Essjay has edited this page no less than 58 times. As this user apparently lied about his credentials, a thorough reexamination of this article is in order. I will begin verifying this information tomorrow. Firsfron of Ronchester05:09, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've started the verifying process, adding citations where I think they are needed, but the tone doesn't seem NPOV, and I've removed/reworked some parts. More is needed. Firsfron of Ronchester22:28, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You know what the sad thing is? This shows you how little if any actual facts are checked by people here. People fail to look at details and instead just give a superficial gloss-over. This article was given as a reference during the creator's admin candidacy when he announced he was a scholar. No scholar would create an article without citations. If anyone had bothered looking this never would have happpened. This is an indictment of all of Wikipedia. --Jayzel01:07, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
