I'm inclined to question whether, for example, Neil Peart and Buddy Rich really belong on the list of percussionists rather than just on the list of drummers where they both rightly appear as well. There is definitely a difference, and people can be one or the other or both. Evelyn Glennie is a percussionist. Gene Krupa and Keith Moon were drummers, as I'd think was Buddy Rich. I'm less sure about Peart. Vic Firth is both. And it's always a bit subjective, as is the question of who belongs on either list. Hmmmm. I'm reluctant to take anyone off, but I urge thought in adding people. Andrewa 20:36, 11 Aug 2003 (UTC)
This is really a list of percussionists. Most of what links here would be better directed to Percussion... I'm going to be bold and move it. Mindspillage | spill your mind? 05:34, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)
